Christopher was first called into ministry in 2004 when he became Youth Pastor at Discovery Hills Church. At the time, he was attending UC Davis where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History in 2006. He then attended Western Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity degree. In 2018, he transitioned into the role of Lead Pastor. He has been married to Robyn since 2006. They have three children: Emaline, Judah, and Lucy. Chris loves road trips, movies, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Born in So Cal, Jason grew up in Nor Cal for most of his life. He attended Simpson University before taking his first full-time ministry job in 2011. He met his wife, Stacey, during an internship in college and they married in 2016. They have three sons, Dean, Barret, and Wade. Jason loves national parks, Disneyland, and most anything technological.

Quinn grew up locally, spending most of her time on the swim team at the pool. She graduated from William Jessup University in Rocklin, and went on to get her teaching credential in English. During college, she began volunteering with her church youth group and has enjoyed working with high school and elementary age ministry programs ever since. She married her husband, Eric, in 2009, and they have 3 boys, Parker, Caleb, and Carson. She loves reading, going to Kings games, and being active with her family outdoors!

Chuck was born in Philadelphia, PA. He has a twin sister and older brother. He graduated from military school and entered the US Navy at 17 years old where he served for 10 years. He spent 30 years in the auto repair business from which he retired in 2001. Chuck has been married to his wife, Jane, since 1988 and they have 5 sons.

Rob grew up in Southern California where he graduated from USC.  He met his wife, Lauren, at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, and they were married in 1993.  In 1997, they moved to El Dorado County where Lauren had grown up.  Rob has been working as a public school teacher for over 25 years.  He loves strategy games and sports, especially basketball (Go Kings!).

Jim was born and raised in Napa where he lived until 2002. Then he and his wife, Cherri, built a new home and moved to El Dorado. He met Cherri on the church steps in 1961 and they were married in 1965. They have two children and one grandson. Jim has been involved in various church responsibilities since his baptism in 1957. His personal interests are travel, old cars, home projects, and playing golf when he has time.

James was born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska, to an indigenous family. He met his wife, Patricia, in high school and they were married in 1965. In 1969, they moved to Santa Cruz, California where they both became Christians. They helped plant a church in Virginia and later moved to New York City before returning to California. They have two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is a volunteer Sierra Law Enforcement Chaplain and enjoys projects on his home and property, and loves basketball.

Jim grew up in Montana then attended Cal Poly University in Pomona. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1985. Jim met and married his wife, Sheryl, in Southern California and they adopted two children, Justine and Ryan. Jim’s job led him to Folsom California in 2000 and the family relocated to Shingle Springs where they live on 10 acres. The Hieberts began attending Discovery Hills Church in April 2000. Now they have one grandson,Thorin. Jim and Sheryl have horses and love to ride whenever they can.
